Although the whole process may seem daunting at first, it’s actually quite simple! After your FREE 10-minute consult, you will receive a follow-up email within 24 hours to inquire as to whether or not you require Melissa’s support. Once a sleep package is chosen, Melissa will email you an invoice and  intake form to be completed by you and your family.  Within one business day of receiving your form and payment, Melissa will once again contact you to set up either a Skype/Facetime or In-Home consultation.


The first consultation is friendly and straightforward. This is a chance to go over your intake form together, talk about healthy sleep habits, and answer any questions you may have. After discussing your family’s sleep needs and philosophy, Melissa will provide you with sleep training methods, making sure to describe the pros and cons of each. Here’s where you can breathe a sigh of relief- it is up to YOU and YOUR family to choose a method that is comfortable for you! Melissa has been trained using a variety of sleep methods, and she will work tirelessly to create a plan that is suited uniquely for you. You will not be forced or coerced into following a method that you are not comfortable with!


Once you have chosen a method, Melissa will create a customized sleep plan and email it to you. The plan is extremely detailed, as it gives recommendations for creating an environment conducive to sleep, suggests ideas for creating or maintaining a soothing bedtime routine, provides a step-by-step guide for using your chosen sleep training method, and offers guidelines for establishing naps. A start time for implementation of the plan is agreed upon, and then we begin! Depending which sleep package you choose, Melissa is available for up to a month of unlimited sleep support. By this time, you’ll be well on your way to sleep success!
